Viscri is a village located in Brasov county in Transylvania, Romania. It is known for its natural beauty, traditional architecture and rich history, especially related to the Saxon population.
We arrived in Mediaș, a town with a rich history and a diverse community, to perform the show “The Legend of Hamelin, a possible history of the Saxons”. It was an exciting and exciting experience.
Biertan, a picturesque village in Sibiu County, is famous for its Transylvanian Saxon community and their fortified church. The Saxons arrived in Transylvania in the 12th century, invited by Hungarian kings to defend the borders and develop the economy.

On 17 July 2023, the mobile stage arrived in Brasov with the show “The Legend of Hamelin. A possible history of the Saxons”.
As part of the Mobile Theatre, the production will travel through Sibiu, Brașov, Sighișoara, Mediaș, Rupea, Șona, Hoghilag, Prod, Porumbacu de Sus, Viscri, Biertan, Richiș, and Cisnădioara.

In the heart of Germany, there is a picturesque town called Hamelin, made famous by a legend that has stood the test of time.
The Saxon settlers organized their communities in the so-called “Saxon villages” or “villages with fortified churches,” characterized by stone houses, fortified churches and complex defensive systems.
“Unteatru, Mobile Theatre” is an innovative cultural project that aims not only to bring theater to small villages and towns in Saxon communities but also to offer unique experiences to the spectators in these areas, with stories inspired by their history.
